The aim of our research is to improve animal health and welfare. Therefore our research facility is accredited by the dutch authority institute NVWA. We are allowed to execute performance trials and scientific research trials.

From the dutch Ministry of Agriculture we received the permission to apply the following research models:

1. The coccidiosis/necrotic enteritis model; to evaluate the effect of feed and drinking water additives on the occurence and severity of coccidiosis, dysbacteriosis and/or Clostridium perfringens infections.

2. The foot pad laesion model; to evaluate the effect of feed and drinking water additives on the occurrence and severity of foot pad laesions.

3. The serologic response model; to evaluate the effect of vaccinations on antibody response and persistence of the virus in the body of the chicken.

Additional laboratory analyses can be performed on request.
